Its hard to put an exact rating on it since the type of literature varies between work So I'll leave a review for each bookEcologues 45 starsTo people new to Roman literature it can be confusing Just take it slow and you'll really enjoy it Georgics 3 starsWasn't something very interesting but it provides a neat insight on rural Roman life I would rather go to Ecologues if you want to see rural Roman life howeverThe Aeneid 5 starsA beautiful classic Any aspiring scholar or just fan of good literature in general will enjoy this Virgil's prose stays clear and beautiful after many years

READ IN LATINDUTCHIn The Netherlands we have several works from Latin Literature that rotate being the subject for our final exams Latin In my year we had The Aeneis by Virgil exactly the sixth book which deals with Aeneis entering the Underworld and speaking to some of his friendsenemies This is of course one of the greatest works in classical literature and there are a lot of similarities with the Odyssee by Homer one of the greatest Greek stories If you are interested it is nice to read both so you can see the parallels and the differences
