In SILVER Lex Talionis you can see that Keira Michelle Telford still has some growing to do Published in 2013 this first part of the Outlier Trilogy has an unpolished feel about it It rivals and maybe even surpasses uicunue Vult when it comes to graphic violence and filth and that is no small feat The whole Silver series is marketed towards a straight audience It’s only in this 3 part series where Telford allows her lesbian to shine through Main character Silver is a married pregnant woman and even though her marriage with Alex hit a bit of a rough patch he is clearly the love of her life And yet she starts to flirt relentlessly with Ria from to moment the two women lay eyes on each other As much as I love to see a lesbian romance blossom Silver’s heart wasn’t really free now was it So she is having her cake and eating it too and it just doesn’t endear her to me She saves the beautiful Russian from a hopeless existence but I still feel Ria mostly drew the short end of the strawTelford likes to cunt tease her audience to the extreme It’s one of her things She manages to keep the reader worked up but only gives you the money shot in the latter part of the story In this case we have to wait for the girls to seal the deal around the view spoiler92% mark hide spoiler

I love the post apocalyptic setting of the Silver books And Silver herself is a sexy badass So what's not to like I only read the first Silver book in this series and then skipped to this 8th one Why Because in the other 6 books Silver is stomping around with her husband And I have no interest in her hetero stuff Sorry This one has ff dalliances soschwiiiing I'm all over it PS You don't have to read all the Silver books to read this one but I do recommend reading the first one to get an understanding of this scary futuristic world
