Great book bringing TB II Strength Training together with conditioning protocols As a military guy I love the workouts and really enjoy his use of undulating periodization I wish I could go back and give this book to myself at 18 It is a uick read that reuires you to have rudimentary understanding of fitness but you can use the information immediately Anything that you don't understand you can google it and it makes sense If you have uestions about the program there is a bulletin board on reddit rtacticalbarbell and the website has a forum as well Overall great product and program

This is hands down the best conditioning program I've come across This book will teach you how to train your energy systems so much then just cardio and how to prioritize and maintain various fitness domains like the aerobic system anaerobic system strength endurance and work capacity It's meant to be used alongside your existing strength training program TB or other I am using this with Wendler's 531 started my Base Building block last week I will transition to Black protocol after BB I love the combo so far It's the pefect SC balance for me The authors have done their homework If you have some training knowledge you'll recognize the principles and theories behind the protocols and individual training sessions There are many great sport specific conditioning books for marathon runners triathletes and the like but hardly any high calibre programs for tactical athletes or general crosstraining athletes that need to be good at everything TB2 fills that void The tactical fitness category is currently littered with unending variations of push ups sit ups and running bootcamp style which doesn't really get you that far TB2 is a different beast altogether and is easily in a class of its own
