Efoot on warm summer grass and dreaming of butterflies during a thunderstorm Colorful illustrations evoke the warmth and joy felt in chi. I won this in a giveaway so heads up if that makes a differenceI read this to some kids to see what they thought since their opinion is obviously the most important one here We read it very fastwell we read the words very fast but we spent ages looking over the lovely drawings The poems were very simple and easy for kids to read out loud They were short enough that I could read one without a toddler getting distracted before I finished The artwork was cute I would say this book can be read to aloud to children maybe as young as even 2 and it could go all the way up to 10 or so before they would be a little old for it If they're like my 12 year old who loves animals than anything then maybe a little older
